Security

American Pride Bank has taken significant measures to help ensure that your non-public personal information (NPI) remains confidential and secure within our data center and all other locations of our financial institution. We use state-of-the-art network, data, and physical security practices to protect your NPI to the best of our ability.

Security Overview

American Pride Bank will make every effort to ensure that your NPI is protected. We use industry standard procedures and processes to safeguard your NPI by using intrusion detection and prevention services, and a secure firewall that is monitored 24 x 7 for unauthorized access attempts. We also utilize, but not limited to encryption of NPI, internal controls, and physical security.

Our key computers that involve gathering, storing, and providing the NPI to you are operated in a secure data center that has restricted access to authorized personnel only. Our data center is monitored 24 x 7 and only authorized employees are permitted on premises. A record is kept of all personnel who have entered the secure data center.

Access to Internet Banking requires multiple levels of authentication. Log on access credentials are always in an encrypted format. Our employees are trained annually on our security policy procedures and practices. They must accept and abide by these.

Firewall

All external access to our internal network must enter through a firewall. A firewall is also used internally to secure access to the Internet and Internet based applications. Our firewall is regularly tested to insure that no unauthorized access is gained to the banks internal network and NPI.

Intrusion Detection

Our internal key computer’s that may contain your NPI is monitored 24 x 7 using intrusion detection and prevention services for unauthorized access attempts. Our Internet Banking site is also monitored 24 x 7 for unauthorized access.

Secure communications between systems

We use SSL to securely encrypt and protect all communications between your web browser and our web servers.
