John Hall
President and CEO

Mr. Hall has been in the banking industry for twenty four years.  Mr. Hall spent fifteen years with regional and super-regional banks, including a tenure as Senior Vice President of Bank of America.  In 2001, John entered community banking as Chief Credit Officer and Senior Lending Officer for Cornerstone Bank in Atlanta.  He left that position in March of 2003 to become Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of First National Bank West Metro, headquartered in Paulding County.  In January 2004, he became President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of First National Bank West Metro, as well as a director of West Metro Financial Services, Inc., the bank’s holding company.  First National Bank West Metro was acquired in August 2005 by First Horizon Bank, where Mr. Hall remained for a year as Senior Vice President, West (Atlanta) Region Executive.  Hall was an organizer, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Choice Community Bank, a de novo bank chartered in west metropolitan Atlanta in April of 2007.  During his working career, Mr. Hall has been actively involved in the community and has served numerous civic and charitable organizations.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of American Pride Bank and American Bancorp, Mr. Hall is responsible for the bank’s leadership and business development.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and hunting.  Hall is a native of Middle Georgia as he was born and raised in Macon, Georgia.  Mr. Hall will reside in Macon with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children.

 

Theresa Younce
Senior Vice President and CFO

Theresa Younce grew up in Franklin, North Carolina.  She attended Western Carolina University and earned a BSBA in Accounting as well as a Master of Accountancy.  Theresa is a Certified Public Account (North Carolina) and an inactive Certified Internal Auditor.  Younce has served as Internal Auditor, Controller and Assistant Vice President at Macon Bank in Franklin, North Carolina.  Most recently, she served as CFO and Vice President at Mountain Heritage Bank in Clayton, Georgia.  Theresa moved to the Middle Georgia region with her husband, William “Robbie” Younce and their daughter, to serve as Senior Vice President and CFO for American Pride Bank.  In her current role, Younce is responsible for the accounting and financial function of the Bank.  In addition, she is responsible for human relations and serves as the Compliance and BSA officer.  Theresa is a past President of the Southeastern Chapter of the Financial Manager’s Society and a former board member of the Western Carolina Accounting Advisory Board.  In her spare time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and kick boxing.

 

P. Andrew “Andy” Flowers
Senior Vice President, Senior Lender

Mr. Flowers is a 1988 graduate of Presbyterian College with a BS.  In 1994 he graduated, with honors, from the Georgia Banking School and attended the School of Commercial Credit of Bank South, NA.  Mr. Flowers has experience in almost all facets of banking, but specializes in commercial and consumer lending.  Spending almost his entire banking career serving the Middle Georgia region, Andy has over 20 years of banking experience working at such institutions as CB&T, Bank South, NationsBank, SunTrust Bank and most recently Robins Federal Credit Union.  As Senior Vice President and Senior Lender for American Pride Bank, Mr. Flowers oversees all lending functions and has oversight for the management of the bank’s frontline, retail staff.   In his spare time, Andy enjoys music, cooking, travel, and is very active at Centenary Church in Macon.  Mr. Flowers has two daughters, Lauren and Claire, and he resides in Warner Robins.
